Faded car carpet.
Colour back, stains gone.
Automotive dye that penetrates the fibre
Faded auto carpet, dye-transfer stains, sun-bleached side panels and worn carpet boots. Our automotive dye system rejuvenates faded car carpet to factory colour — penetrates the fibre rather than coating it, won't transfer to shoes or clothes. Cars, 4WDs, vans, boats, RVs and aircraft only — we do not clean residential carpet.
From $249 · Typically 1/3rd to 1/5th the cost of carpet replacement

What we fix
Damage we see every week
If it's on this list, there's a high chance we can restore it without replacement — and at a fraction of the cost.
- Faded carpet on the sun-side floor and rear parcel shelf
- Dye-transfer staining (denim, fabric softener, kids' markers)
- Worn carpet around pedals and door sills
- Bleach spots from cleaning chemicals
- Salt-stain rings from winter footwear
- Scuffed carpet on door cards and side panels
- Pet damage, hair embedding and odour
- Boot and cargo-area wear
Process
Quote. Restore. Protect.
- 01
Pre-clean
Hot extraction removes embedded dirt, salt rings, pet hair and loose fibres. The carpet is fully clean and dry before any colour goes on.
- 02
Stain treatment
Spot extraction of dye-transfer marks, oils and biological residue. Bleach spots are colour-rebuilt rather than masked.
- 03
Dye application
Automotive textile dye applied in passes — penetrates the fibre rather than coating it. Won't transfer to shoes, won't wash out, matches the factory specification.
- 04
Set & seal
Texture re-set with specialist brushing. Topical stain-guard applied to repel future damage. Drive-away same day.
Why it happens
Why Canberra is hard on car carpet
Most car-carpet damage we see in the ACT comes back to a small set of causes — and almost all of them are reversible without replacement. We do not clean residential carpet, curtains or fabric lounges. This service is exclusively for automotive interiors: cars, 4WDs, vans, boats, RVs and light aircraft.
Read: why does leather crack?North-facing parked cars
Passenger-side floor carpet fades within 5 years of sustained sun exposure through the windscreen. Apartment and street parking accelerates it.
Treeless subdivisions
Tuggeranong and Gungahlin homes without shade fade boot and cargo carpet fastest in the ACT. Boot lid windows act like magnifying glass on dark carpet.
Salt-tracking from snow trips
Brindabella and Perisher winter trips leave salt and grit ring stains that sit for months unless properly extracted with hot water.
Pet hair and dander
Kelpies, labradors and golden retrievers shed dander that cements into carpet pile, traps odour, and is very difficult to remove without industrial extraction.
Dye transfer
Denim, fabric softener and kids' markers permanently stain factory-pile carpet. Surface cleaning makes the colour duller without removing the dye.
Bleach spots
Household cleaners brought into the cabin leave white rings; only true textile dye rebuilds the colour back to factory.

Why it matters who you choose
Independent specialist
vs franchise network.
Most Canberra customers don't realise until the quote arrives that the national brand they just rang is a franchise — with franchise fees, a call centre and a variable local operator.
Franchise network
The usual experience
- Franchise fees passed to clients

- Quality varies by individual franchisee
- Generic national products and processes
- Response time depends on territory operator

Send a photo now →No — once cured the dye is permanent. It won't transfer to shoes, won't wash out in a pressure-clean, and won't bleed onto adjacent cloth seats. The fibre is dyed, not coated.
Yes — we work from the manufacturer trim code or by direct colour-match against a hidden section of carpet. Beige, charcoal, grey, black and navy are stocked. Custom colours are mixed on demand.
Yes — we clean and dye automotive cloth seats. Common request: faded velour rear seats in older Mercedes, BMW and Volvo wagons. We do not touch residential fabric or curtains.
We extract first, then assess. If the odour is in the carpet padding underneath, you may need our odour treatment on top of the dye. We'll tell you up front from the photo and quote both together.
